Type an English sentence. Get lifelike Mandarin audio with pinyin, stroke order, and an HSK-graded translation, then loop it at the speed and gap that lets you actually shadow.
Try it free → No signup to try a sentence.Whatever you actually want to learn: a phrase for a trip, something you'd say at work, a sentence from a podcast you didn't catch.
HSK 1 through HSK 6. The translation, vocabulary, and grammar are constrained to that level, so beginner sentences stay beginner, and advanced sentences earn their complexity.
Hit play. The audio repeats with the silence gap you set. Say the sentence out loud in the gap, then hear it again. Adjust speed if you need to. That's the whole loop.
Modern neural voices with natural Mandarin pronunciation and tones. Tones, sandhi, and neutral particles pronounced correctly.
Every syllable color-coded by tone: first, second, third, fourth, neutral. Visual reinforcement while you listen.
Tap any character to see stroke order. Useful if you're writing by hand or studying for HSK writing sections.
Sentences are generated at the level you pick. Real HSK-graded vocab, not pretend.
Save sentences into named phrasebooks. Loop a set as a single playlist: your morning commute deck, your travel deck, your work deck.
One click, full Anki deck with audio, pinyin, English, and hanzi as separate fields. Quizlet too.
Mandarin's tones don't survive reading. You can stare at mā má mǎ mà for an hour and not internalize them, but ten minutes of looping a sentence and saying it back, out loud, with the model immediately after for comparison, will move the needle. Shadowing trains the muscles and the ear at the same time.
LoopLingua exists because every tool we tried either turned this into a flashcard grind, hid the audio behind a paywall, or made us fight a podcast scrubber to repeat a single sentence twenty times. The loop is the product.
Shadowing is a technique used by interpreters: repeat a recorded sentence out loud immediately after, or in sync with, the voice you hear. LoopLingua plays the sentence on a loop with a configurable silence gap so you can shadow each repetition, then hear the model again to self-correct.
