How it works

1

Type an English sentence

The phrase you'll actually use: buying a ticket, ordering at the bakery, replying in a meeting. Practice what you'll say, not what a textbook thinks you should.

2

Pick a CEFR level

A1 through C1. Cases, verb tenses, and vocabulary match the level: A1 stays simple, C1 uses Konjunktiv and proper subordinate-clause word order.

3

Loop. Shadow. Self-correct.

Press play. Hear it. Say it in the gap. Hear it again. Slow it down if you need to. The loop is yours to tune.

Why shadowing works for German

German speakers don't slow down for you. Word order flips, verbs land at the end of subordinate clauses, and the rhythm of a long German sentence has its own shape. Reading grammar tables won't get you there. Your ear has to learn the cadence.

Shadowing a B1-level sentence on loop, with the silence gap set so you can actually echo it before the next play, builds the rhythm into your mouth. That's the path to sounding fluent, not just being technically grammatical.
